Thinking Newenglandly is royal - Emily Dickinson

Everyone has their own criterion for judging beauty.  Emily Dickinson thinks that Robin has the sweetest song.  If she were more used to cuckoos, she would perhaps think that cuckoos had the sweetest song.  Whether we are big or small, a small poet from new england or the queen of england, we discern based on our experiences.  We think provincially.  How important is that thinking in today's times when it is difficult to understand why people have certain views. The reason is that most of us think provincially.

However, there are some that think universally ... the seekers of oneness.
